Mountaineer Diamond Care specializes in athletic field services for baseball and softball, offering expert renovations and maintenance including infield work, laser grading, re-edging, pitcher mound and home plate restorations, sod installation, aeration, and seeding.

Infield Renovation
We de-compact your infield skin, create new crisp edges, bring in new clay mix, and finish it out by grading the infield leaving it in game ready condition.
Infield Laser Grade
The ABI Force Z23 can laser grade to within an eighth of an inch and is equipped with fingertip controls for hydraulic attachments. Ensure your field drains right and looks good! Our dedicated infield grading equipment will leave your skin in pristine condition!
New Edges
We will mechanically re-edge all the edges on the infield surface and in Landscape Designs
Pitcher Mound Renovation
Holes dug out can cause footing issues. We rebuild the table, the ramp, and the landing zone using a specialized clay designed bricks to compact better.
Home Plate Renovation
Batter boxes have a high usage during the baseball season! Let us rebuild these areas with a clay designed to take the beating.

Infield lip renovation
Baseball field lip repair involves removing overgrown turf and infield mix buildup at the edge, ranging from simple raking/hosing for small "loose lips" to using a sod cutter or specialized equipment like a Turfplaner or power broom for severe lips, followed by regrading and re-sodding/seeding for a smooth, safe transition

Sod Installation
At Mountaineer Diamond Care and Landscaping, we emphasize proper soil preparation to ensure your new sod thrives. Our process includes clearing existing debris, testing and amending soil for optimal pH, loosening and enriching the soil with organic matter, grading for proper drainage, and moistening the ground before installation. This thorough preparation creates the perfect foundation for healthy, vibrant lawns that last.
Aeration and seeding
The AERA-vator is designed to stir and loosen the soil beneath the sod without destroying the turf. The EA600 creates a core hole without bringing a core plug to the surface, leaving the turf ready for use immediately after treatment.
While aerating, we use a Gandy Seeder for the Aera-Vator, reseeding your lawn at the same time as aeration. Laying new grass seed while aerating increases the odds of germination for thicker and healthier lawns.
Hardscape
Mountaineer Diamond Care can transform your outdoor living space with professionally designed and installed hardscape features like retaining walls, patios, flower beds, fire pits, and steps. We handle everything from site preparation and excavation to installing durable, high-quality materials such as natural stone, concrete pavers, and modular blocks.
